Yeah we know. We feel the same way. And that's why we started taking OdysseyPix.
Where we come from, OdysseyPix are... well, it's not what everyone else does (but it's what everyone wants to do now ;)
We think photos should be fun. We're fun... we're assuming you're fun... (or you wouldn't be reading this) so why can't your portraits be fun too?
We're starting a revolution in New York portraits... a revolution that starts with you, your friends, your family, and ends with amazing photos that really and truly reveal who you are, and what you're like.
These are the pictures you will be proud to look at forever. These are the photos your grandkids will look at and say "holy crap my grandparents were freaking AWESOME!"
But it's not about the pictures. Not really. Obviously that's the goal. We get that. We'll get to that part.
We think that great pictures start with great people.
We think you're pretty great, and we think we're pretty great (we have a fairly positive self-image). Now what if we got together to take some great pictures?
You are on a journey. In your lifetime... in any lifetime... there will never be another person like you. No one else will have the same combination of talents, skills, experiences, friends, family, dreams, hopes, expectations, and destiny.
Can standard portraits really capture all of that? While sitting in a chair? Staring at a wall?
So buck the system. Do something different.
Your picture is not about what you looked like at a certain point in your life. It's about what you stood for, what you were about, and what you one day wanted to be. We want you to be able to look back at your pictures, and always have that feeling that you have right now. That feeling of promise, opportunity, of endless possibilities.
